“Julian at James Rosa Associates really took the pressure off me at a difficult time. My 2 colleagues and I were bound by Personal Guarantees regarding a Not-For Profit business that went into liquidation. The bank used divisive tactics writing letters to different people and seemingly singling me out for telephone “duties”. They would typically write just before Christmas demanding a reply within 14 days, but the letter would be dated 12 days earlier than the actual arrival date.i.e. 2 days to respond. Then call you on New Years Eve (I’m not making this up). Of course any question to them, would take weeks to get a reply back on. We’d find that randomly two of us would get the letter and the other one wouldn’t, the next time different. After a while you realized it was either incompetence on their part or much more likely a deliberate strategy.

Once we appointed Julian they couldn’t do that, as only having a single point of contact for the bank, that tactic was no longer an option. We noticed that he (Julian) knew exactly what documents they should have been able to supply and as soon as he started to request those, we seemed to drop to the back of their “hassle” queue. “Julian at James Rosa Associates really took the pressure off me at a difficult time. My 2 colleagues and I were bound by Personal Guarantees regarding a Not-For Profit business that went into liquidation. The bank used divisive tactics writing letters to different people and seemingly singling me out for telephone “duties”. They would typically write just before Christmas demanding a reply within 14 days, but the letter would be dated 12 days earlier than the actual arrival date.i.e. 2 days to respond. Then call you on New Years Eve (I’m not making this up). Of course any question to them, would take weeks to get a reply back on. We’d find that randomly two of us would get the letter and the other one wouldn’t, the next time different. After a while you realized it was either incompetence on their part or much more likely a deliberate strategy.

Once we appointed Julian they couldn’t do that, as only having a single point of contact for the bank, that tactic was no longer an option. We noticed that he (Julian) knew exactly what documents they should have been able to supply and as soon as he started to request those, we seemed to drop to the back of their “hassle” queue.
